On November 24th 2016, the people of Jerningham Road in London, were invited on a dérive to encounter 13 ephemeral street drawings based on the Google Streetview database. At the time of guerilla-drawing, a total of 47 people appeared to be on Jerningham Road in a digital environment which is presented as a global mapping tool. It does a little more than merely depict geographical space. What is captured on Google Street View Nine Eyes camera, is also who is captured and held there in suspended animation – in perpetuity.
